Sports Club TC 2000 started its activities in children's sports in the fall of 1998 with 45 students, all of whom were beginners in tennis. Today, Rene Busch Tennis School is the largest tennis school in Estonia.
We operate under the name Rene Busch Tennis School since the completion of the Rocca al Mare Tennis Center in January 2003. In our school, nearly 300 young players learn tennis, including competitive athletes, recreational players, and complete beginners who are passionate about tennis. We see great opportunities and potential for the versatile development of children in tennis, physical preparation, and enjoyable leisure activities.
There are around 250 recreational athletes, for whom tennis is primarily a fun and healthy way to spend their leisure time, encompassing various ages. Our goal is that every young person who plays tennis for their own enjoyment would learn to feel and appreciate the charm and beauty of the game, continue playing tennis as a social activity in the future, and contribute to the tennis culture in the broadest and best sense. Children in the tennis school can choose the number of training sessions according to their preference and agreement with the coach.
There are about 50 competitive athletes who represent the school in tennis competitions both in Estonia and elsewhere in Europe. More detailed information can be found under 'Results.' The diligent training of young athletes has led to excellent achievements. In addition to daily tennis training, we place a strong emphasis on physical preparation – often organizing joint forest runs, football matches, or swimming sessions.
In addition to tennis training, it is possible to participate in various tournaments organized by our club, such as season-opening competitions, mixed doubles events, and club championships for every age group. We have also organized international competitions against clubs from Sweden, Finland, Latvia, and Russia. Particularly enjoyable experiences include reciprocal trips to friendly clubs in Sweden and Latvia.
