Estonia counts more then a thousand Islands

The islands off the Estonian coast are virtual dreamlands, unlike anything in Europe. There are more than a thousand of them lining the Estonian coast.
The Estonian Islands are retreats from a fast-paced city life and have a rather laid-back, friendly air about them.
Most Islands are still uninhabited -that is by people-. Together they form a vast and nearly untouched nature reserve, unique in the Baltic Sea. The Islands were first mapped in the 4th century BC by Pytheas, the Greek explorer, long before the mainland came into known existence.

Muhu, the third largest among these more than thousand Islands, is definitely worth a visit.
