Help us to preserve our pristine nature |
|
Muhu Island is well known for its pristine nature; it derives its beauty from the respect that nature has earned over times from its inhabitants. A deeply rooted and almost pagan relationship with the surrounding nature and its forces, guide the Muhu inhabitants up to this day. Muhu is fragile and should be treated as such.
As a visitor we like you to follow five simple rules to help us to preserve our nature.
- Enjoy and treat our nature with respect, it is fragile and has to be savored slowly.
- Do not litter, and clean up behind yourself
- If you happen to find litters please pick them up, anyone on Muhu will gladly help you to dispose of it.
- Enjoy the pure silence on Muhu, a thing rather rare in today’s world and refrain from noisy activities during your visit.
- Appreciate the low level of light pollution; enjoy the bright moon, stars and occasional Northern lights.
